Nittany Lion's Den joins forces with news leader in Chester County, Pennsylvania
LANSDALE, PA. (August 10, 2011) - Nittany Lion's Den continues to expand alongside local news media partners. Effective immediately Nittany Lion's Den content will be added to the Daily Local News as the newest contributor to the Blogtown network. This is the latest effort in adding to Journal Register Company's (The Daily Local News's parent company) Ben Franklin Project effort.
The Journal Register Company’s Ben Franklin Project is an opportunity to re-imagine the news-gathering process with the focus on Digital First and Print Last. Using only free tools found on the Internet, the project will – from assigning to editing- create, publish and distribute news content on both the web and in print. Read more about it here.
Nittany Lion's Den content will now be shared alongside beat reporters from Philadelphia's sports scene, such as Ryan Lawrence (Phillies), Bob Grotz (Eagles), Anthony J. SanFilippo (Flyers) and Dennis Deitch (Sixers) in addition to a handful of local community sports blogs serving Chester County. Content from the website is already aligned with The Reporter in Montgomery County. The Reporter is also owned by Journal Register Company.
